Family Support Training Scholarships Available

The Iowa Office of Empowerment has contracted with the Division of Community Action Agencies (DCAA) to award scholarships for training to family support workers across the state. The trainings approved for the scholarships are Healthy Families Iowa Core training, Healthy Family Iowa Core training for supervisors, Partnering with Parents, Parents as Teachers 0-3, Parents as Teachers 3 –K and Family Development Certification offered through Iowa State Iowa State University Extension and University of Iowa - National Resource Center. The scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Any family support organization providing services in Iowa are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.

Your agency will be reimbursed for the cost of registration and materials upon successful completion of training/certification. Submission of Family Support Scholarship Reimbursement Request is to be made to DCAA.

Participants will be responsible to register directly with the training provider. Please see the list below for contact information.
